Thank you for visiting my blog! To answer your question about why I spray painted the glass before I painted on the chalkboard paint: I did that mainly as a precaution. I thought that the if the glass was already painted, then the chalkboard paint would have some sort of texture to "grab" on to. Next time I will try just painting the chalkboard paint directly on the glass to see if there's a difference.
